BUTTONFIX TYPE1 TRI + GREEN BUTTON x20
The Type 1 Button-fix connects parallel panels where the emphasis is on strength, and is recommended when the panels are carrying cantilevered loads such as shelving.
Unlike gravity fasteners such as split battens or French cleats, the slide & click engagement of Type 1 allows for sideways assembly of the panel - no need for a gap above!
As well as offering the choice of drop-down or sideways engagement, the versatile Type 1 is reversible. It can be surface-mounted, for simplicity, or semi-rebated to save space and reduce the installation depth. But in all configurations, the strength and performance of Type 1 are not compromised.
Guide loads
Wall panel with 4 x Fixes, guide load = 200 kg max.
Ceiling panel with 4 x Fixes, guide load = 110 kg max.
- Advice on panel loads is given with the proviso that the screws and substrate are properly matched, and all other instructions complied with. For critical applications it is essential to perform your own tests.
- Advice is based on independent load tests with Button-fix attached to 18mm MDF or plywood. Allowances should be made when using different panels.
