Type 1 Metal

In demanding applications where proven performance is required, Button-fix Type 1 Metal is the one to use.

Typical uses include:

  • Fire-retardant panels
  • Environments where fire smoke toxicity is a concern
  • Maritime and other transport interiors
  • Applications subject to vibration or shock loading
  • Panels that are repeatedly removed

 

Guide loads

 

Wall panel with 4 x Fixes, guide load = 350 kg max.

Ceiling panel with 4 x Fixes, guide load = 230 kg max.

- Advice on panel loads is given with the proviso that the screws and substrate are properly matched, and all other instructions complied with. For critical applications it is essential to perform your own tests.

- Advice is based on independent load tests with Button-fix attached to 18mm MDF or plywood. Allowances should be made when using different panels.
