Although the TOGGLER ALLIGATOR® plug may look like ordinary plastic plugs, they function very differently to hold more weight than most concrete and masonry anchors made out of metal. Thanks to the Alligator® plugs unique, patented design, they can even hold more than most chemical, epoxy, and adhesive anchors.

In unexpected cavities (like hollow brick or hollow block) and in hollow walls (like tile over drywall or in drywall itself), the screw opens the Alligator® plug and locks its thread into the anchor’s teeth to resist pull-out and vibration. In a solid substrate like brick, concrete or even lightweight block the Alligator® plug extrudes itself (rather than expands) along the length of the screw which gives even holding pressure along the length of the fixing rather than just at the point of expansion like in most other ‘plug’ type fixings.

Now that’s no ordinary plastic wall plug.
